|To love at all is to be vulnerable|

Has your heart ever been broken by a relationship? You give your heart, soul and mind to someone, you love and become vulnerable. Whether it's a friend, lover, or family, the only way for the two of you to live and grow is to keep honest communication in love. It's inevitable in our broken world that there will be ebbs and flows between two people. It is so important to realize we were made for relationships, they are all that exist. Our Father God is unwaveringly holding us by grace, providing us with our true happiness so we can go forth and sustain friendships through out our lives. Relationships are investments. Never take them for granted, call without waiting to be called first, always pursue, care for their heart. When you're blessed with a beautiful relationship, offer your heart, make them feel they way you would want to feel. If you want these pure, loving, rewarding relationships, pray for them. After all, God is all about them, he wants us to be blessed, be vulnerable in love.
Insight from "Captivating" by John & Stasi Eldredge

"To love at all is to be vulnerable. Love anything and your heart will be wrung and possibly broken. If you want to make sure of keeping it intact you must give it to no one, not even an animal. Wrap it carefully round with hobbies and little luxuries; avoid all entanglements. Lock it up safe in the casket or coffin of your selfishness. But in that casket, safe, dark, motionless, airless, it will change. It will not be broken; it will become unbreakable, impenetrable, irredeemable. To love is to be vulnerable."
